We asked Zach six questions about his life as a music teacher:

What Instrument Do You Play?

I play violin and viola. I am a singer as well (baritone).

Best flavor of Pop Tart?

Any berry flavor. I am particularly fond of blueberry.

Favorite Piece to Conduct?

"Let it Be." We did that one in our last school concert and it was a hit!

Baton, Pencil, or just your hands?

Usually baton for me.

What Instrument do you WISH you knew how to play?

Saxophone or any jazz instrument would be fun to learn.

Best piece of musical advice you’ve been given?

Talk less and practice more. The more we focus on the work and using it to uplift and inspire the better!
