Our Staff Has Been Falling In Love With These

Over the last month or so there have been a few items around the store that our staff can't keep their hands off of. Whether they're fans of the way they play, bought one for themselves, or simply think everyone needs one, these are their picks for November!

Roland GO:KEYS 3 Turquoise Portable Keyboard

"There’s a reason this has been a Staff Pick so many times. Everyone at the store loves this thing. Some of my personal favorite features are the lo-fi vinyl effect that plays in the background on certain modes, and the backing tracks that aren’t cheesy (which is hard to find on a keyboard)."

Hellier Strad Violin 4/4

Hellier Strad Violin 4/4

"The Hellier Strad violin is the most beautiful instrument in the store! The ribs are inlaid with the design of a vine, and the sound is rich and woody. The etchings are copied from a Stradivarius, originally made in 1679!"

- Aiko

Chappell Roan – The Rise & Fall of a Midwest Princess P/V/G Songbook

"It's been a while since I've been as excited about a musician as I've been about Chappell Roan. This is one of those albums you put on while getting ready, drive to on repeat, or put on your main playlist. And now I get to learn how to play it all!"

The Twister Trumpet Mouthpiece Puller

The Twister Trumpet Mouthpiece Puller

"I’ve used big, bulky, metal mouthpiece pullers to remove horns for decades, and it’s safe to say I was skeptical when I saw this one from Twister. It’s lightweight, easy to use, and is modular so you can fit it in almost any trumpet case. The designers in Australia really knew what they were doing with this one. Every trumpet player should have one."

Wooden Clarinets

Wooden Clarinets

"IMC sells wooden clarinets! I recently purchased the Yamaha CSVR and have loved the darker tone. A (not so) hidden gem, the CSVR was and is Yamaha's answer to the popularity of the Buffet R13. Any clarinet player will know the reputation of the R13, but not as many have played on a CSVR, luckily, IMC carries both! Come, try, and compare!"

Yamaha FGDP-50 Finger Drum Pad

"The Yamaha Finger Drum Pad had everyone in our store huddled in a group jamming! The FGDP comes in an ergonomic layout perfect for finger drumming beginners or experts. It also has a loud internal speaker and rechargeable battery that make it a true all-in-one instrument that you can take with you anywhere. Let your fingers make the rhythm!"

- Isaac

Pearl Rapid Lock Hi-hat Drop Clutch with Locking Nut

Pearl Rapid Lock Hi-hat Drop Clutch with Locking Nut

“I love sharing products that are just the best at what they do, and the Pearl Drop Clutch is just that. The quick release function allows you to easily adjust the positioning and feel of the hi-hats while the drop clutch offers a way to close the hats instantly for double bass pedal use. A must have for gigging drummers that will have you never want to use a traditional clutch again!”
