End of Year Concerts, Graduation Performances, Auditions for Next Year

End of Year Concerts

Students are preparing for their final concerts, showcasing all they’ve learned throughout the year. These performances give band and orchestra members a chance to demonstrate their progress and teamwork, and they’re a wonderful opportunity for families to celebrate their child’s musical journey.

Encourage your student to keep practicing at home as they get ready for this special event!

Graduation Performances

Graduation ceremonies often feature live music provided by the school’s band or orchestra. Participating in these performances allows students to be part of a meaningful tradition, supporting their graduating peers and experiencing the joy of playing for a large audience.

It’s a proud moment that highlights the importance of music in school celebrations.

Auditions for Next Year

This month, students may have the opportunity to audition for next year’s band or orchestra groups. Auditions help teachers place students in ensembles that best match their skills and interests, and they encourage young musicians to set goals and continue improving.

Remind your student to review their audition materials and practice regularly to feel confident and prepared.

As the school year comes to a close you may be tempted to return your rental instrument, but young musicians gain a lot from practicing over the summer!
