'"The Basements are a local band alternative rock based in Tucson, Arizona. Members of the band are lead vocalist and rhythm guitarist, Sebastian Driver, lead guitarist, Brandon Pors, bassist, Dylan Goode, and drummer, Alex Sciortino. Brandon and Alex are both from Peoria, Ariz., Sebastian is from Anchorage, Alaska, and Dylan is from San Francisco, Calif.
The Basements first started practicing together in Dylan's basement and had their first performance in March 2021 at the University of Arizona's 'Unplugged'. Later they competed and took first place against seven other local bands in the Dusk Battle of the Bands, taking home a slot on the Dusk main stage.
Since then, the band has released two EPs, 'Long Stories Get Short' & 'Broken Escalators Are Stairs', played a west coast tour, and continues to play shows across the state with the intention of continuing to grow their presence in Arizona." - The Basements

What's your favorite venue to play in Tucson?
What's the funniest thing that's happened during a performance?
Sebastian dances and jumps around a lot and one time hit Dylan in the face with his guitar pretty good.
What's your first memory as a musician?
Our first memory as a band was going over our songs with Alex for the first time in Sebs room 15 minutes before our first show.
What's your favorite song to perform?
What's the best advice you've ever received?
To not worry about the opinions of others and focus what we enjoy and what we think sounds good.
