"Built in 1919, Hotel Congress is a cultural landmark that anchors downtown Tucson. Tastefully renovated with an eye for detail, every facet of the hotel has a story to tell. Its unique Southwest deco-inspired theme feels as vibrant and inspiring today as it did throughout its illustrious history making it one of Arizona’s top destinations."
Club Congress
If you play music, love music, or simply have ears and you live in Tucson, chances are you've seen a show at Club Congress. From seeing your favorite indie band there before they blow up, to your friend's sister's new band playing their first show, Congress has been an iconic part of Tucson's music scene for decades.
With two primary venue spaces, the Club inside, and the Plaza stage outside, Club Congress hosts intimate shows, large concerts, dance parties, and more ranging from all ages to 21 and up. No matter the genre, it's been seen on these stages.
The Century Room
The Century Room Opened its doors in February of 2022 as "A borderlands jazz club & mezcal lounge featuring craft cocktails, regional wine & beer." It's one of Tucson's only jazz clubs hosting local, regional, and national jazz musicians almost every night of the week. Dedicated to continuing the legacy of the traditional jazz clubs, The Century Room provides a space for musicians and audience members to come together for an authentic experience.

We asked Quinn Scully, Venue and Box Office Manager of Club Congress, how to book a show at these spaces and here's what we learned:
What is the best way to get in contact with you about booking?
Send an email to bookingashow@hotelcongress.com
Do you require a link to music the performer/band makes?
Yes
Do you require a media package?
No, but links to social media are a must
Should a performer/band reach out to you directly, or do you prefer managers to contact you?
We do our absolute best to respond to every inquiry whether it's an individual artist or their management team.
What can performers/bands expect in terms of payment?
Typically a door deal, but there are a million ways to go about this!
How far out should performer/band reach out about booking?
It never hurts to ask!
Are performers required to fill the rest of the bill?
This is a big help!
Are performers directly required to sell tickets ahead of time?
Performers are not directly responsible for selling hard tickets prior to the performance, but are required to promote the show and encourage their fans to buy tickets in advance.
Is there anything else folks should know about the process? Anything we missed?
If you don't hear back, sending an email follow-up is always a nice reminder that you're interested!
