Teaches: Acoustic, Electric, Bass, Ukulele, Mandolin, Banjo, & Piano
Oliver Dewey is a multi-instrumentalist, singer/songwriter, and Tucson native whose passion lies in helping beginner/intermediate musicians develop their skills and passion for all things music. His musical aptitudes cover a variety of instruments including guitar, piano, ukulele, banjo, mandolin, bass, and drums which were developed over a decade of studying and playing with many local Tucson instructors and gigging musicians, as well as time spent in the undergraduate music program of Ashland University in Ohio and the Bolton guitar program of the University of Arizona. A lover of music from a young age due to his grandfather Tim O’Connor, a prominent Tucson fiddler, Oliver hopes to instill in his students the innate joy of playing music and it’s power as a vehicle for creative self-expression.

He currently plays lead guitar in local folk band The Egg Thieves as well as under his own name and has played many local Tucson establishments and festivals such as Tucson PorchFest, Tucson Meet Yourself, and the Tucson Folk Festival. In his off-time he enjoys movies, record shopping, and exploring antique malls and coffee shops.
