Our store has retail, repair, lesson, and school service departments with all kinds of roles in each. Are you an expert merchandiser, a former teacher still wanting to work with students, a tinkerer, or an oboe player who really loves spreadsheets? We want to meet you!
PRODUCT SPECIALIST​
​
Product Specialists at IMC are required to have and convey knowledge of all musical instruments and accessories in our store, process instrument rentals, and keep the store clean and organized. Sales are a byproduct of developing meaningful relationships with our customers. None of our staff works on commission because we are dedicated to finding the right fit for each and every customer based on their specific needs.
The ideal candidate would have some sort of musical background, a friendly personality, self-confident nature, ability to speak clearly to all sorts of customers, be able to perform basic math under pressure, be punctual, reliable, and have good situational awareness with a willingness to learn. Product Specialists must be able to accurately and effectively communicate to fellow staff and our customers. Please note in your submission if you speak Spanish!
